Counseling can be a key component in your journey to comprehensive wellness. The heart of counseling is to improve an individual’s life by focusing on strengths to create a healthy change that is long lasting. The spirit of counseling involves the individual becoming the co-counselor.
Trust in knowing one’s self better than anyone else, accessing one’s own wisdom, and allowing an individual to attend to their own wounds: this places the individual in the driver’s seat, all while working collaboratively with the counselor. This is how individuals are allowed to grow, heal and transform.
